ON OCTOBER 22, ISTIKLOL WILL FACE ONE OF IRAQ’S MOST RENOWNED CLUBS - AL-ZAWRAA - N THE THIRD ROUND OF THE AFC CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.

Al-Zawraa will be the fourth Iraqi team to take the field against Istiklol. During the 2015–2018 and 2017 seasons, the Tajik champions already played against Iraqi clubs Erbil, Naft Al-Wasat, and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya (Air Force) in the AFC Cup.
