Today, the Tajikistan Football Federation’s Futsal Committee held an extended meeting to review the 2024/25 season, address key organizational issues, and outline plans for the upcoming futsal season in the country.

It was decided that the format of the new Tajikistan Futsal Super League season will remain the same — the new season is expected to begin around July 26 and conclude in December.

FFT General Secretary Furqat Akhmedjonov opened the meeting and introduced the new Chairman of the Futsal Committee — Abduzoir Ismoilov, General Director of the ORIYO fuel station network.

In his opening remarks, Abduzoir Ismoilov expressed gratitude to the Federation’s leadership for their trust and emphasized his commitment to further raising the profile of futsal in Tajikistan.

Participants of the meeting summarized the previous season, exchanged views on the development of futsal, and identified priority directions for the future. Special attention was given to the league format, competition schedule, and refereeing matters.

Club applications for the 2025 Futsal Super League allow for a maximum of four foreign players, with only three allowed on the pitch at the same time.

The 2025 Futsal Super Cup match between “Soro Company” and “Istiklol” is planned to take place in September.

Committee members also discussed proposed changes and additions to the new season’s regulations, and supported the idea of introducing a video assistant referee (VAR) system for the final series of the 2025 Super League.
